The connection of a building to an urban network fits perfectly LEED certification process. Not only are the operating costs reduced, but the whole engineering of the building is considerably simplified and the maintenance and provisions for the heating and air conditioning equipment are no longer necessary. A lot of space and resources that can be invested elsewhere and improve other areas of the building.

In addition to having reduced emissions of reject particles, a building connected to the air conditioning network of CCUM doesn’t need to resort to CFCs or other chemical substances harmful to the environment.
