CCUM is owned by Gaz Métro Plus and Dalkia Canada since February 2006.
Dalkia also possesses its own research center in thermal energy in Paris. The main areas of research are fuel cells, optimization of biomass applications, geothermic and sanitary risks prevention against legionellosis. CCUM can therefore benefit from the discoveries and breakthroughs initiated in this state-of-the-art center. Moreover, the managers of CCUM are closely monitored by the technical and engineering management teams of Dalkia, a pioneer in Europe in the utilization of biomass as fuel, a promising green option for energy production. Dalkia is now a respected force in this sector.
In Canada, it is through CCUM that Dalkia takes part in this ground-breaking method of energy production. Biomass is a great source of renewable energy that contributes actively to the valorization of ecosystems.
